      We never sell a film to everyone. Each title has a fixed number of slots, at most 1,000 in the whole world, and one slot is one licence for one cinema or venue. A cinema that wins a slot gets an official numbered seal to use when it promotes the film. Start by joining the waiting list.

      Cinemas can join the VIP Club: USD 1,500 a year, a discount on licences and ordering 3 days before everyone else.

        Winners get a numbered seal

        Seat 137 of 1,000, for example. Put it on your poster, website, tickets and social media. It tells your audience the screening is official, limited and found nowhere else nearby.

        We get the licence

        We negotiate an exclusive, limited licence for a unique version of a film. The rights holder receives a minimum guarantee upfront.

        Cinemas bid for slots

        We open an online auction for up to 1,000 slots. It runs 7 to 14 days. The starting price covers the minimum guarantee and operating costs, and the highest bids win.

        The film reaches the screen

        Each winning cinema gets the film as a protected file with a licence key. DRM, a forensic watermark and playback control protect every copy.

        The virtual cinema runs in parallel

        Alongside the physical screenings, viewers at home can join a limited virtual screening, in VR (Meta Quest) or as a web stream.

        We share the proceeds

        60 % of the proceeds go to the rights holder and 40 % to Unique Films. The minimum guarantee is counted against the rights holder’s share, and reports show screenings and revenue in real time.

      We are looking for director’s cuts, extended versions, restored classics, rare editions and first cuts. If you hold the rights, send us your film. This is how a licence with us works:

      1. You send us the filmA short description, the version and a link to a trailer or screener are enough.
      2. We talk about the termsAn exclusive, limited licence for 2 to 3 years with an option to extend, for the whole world or selected regions.
      3. You receive a minimum guaranteeIt is paid upfront, and its amount depends on the commercial potential of the title.
      4. We run the auction and share the proceedsYou receive 60 % of the proceeds, with the guarantee counted against it, and you see the results in the reports.
